Notes from the West is a collection of sketches and journal drawings giving impressions of a trip through California and Oregon, after having lived in England for a year.
This minicomic is a predecessor to Broersma's 2004 book from Éditions Flblb, The Grand Tour, which incorporates many more drawings as well as personal anecdotes and musings into a multifaceted, epic memoir.
